We were founded in 2019 to help Berkley's workers compensation companies transform into tech-focused industry disruptors who make the experience clear + simple.
We are a part of W. R. Berkley Corporation, an insurance holding company that is among the largest commercial lines writers in the United States. Each of the Berkley companies, or operating units, participates in a niche market requiring specialized knowledge about an industry, product or territory.
One of those niches? Workers compensation, a market that’s vital to business owners and their teams. But employers need to focus their time on what they do best—running their businesses—not dealing with insurance companies.
We collaborate with insurance brands to lead and deliver business change. We are working to simplify commercial insurance and make it better for our customers. Companies we partner with are listed below.
Berkley Enterprise Risk Solutions was established to insure and work with large, motivated employers operating in a broad range of industries. They seek companies who are looking for customized risk management solutions to their workplace safety challenges, and who at the time of account submission, generate a minimum of $300,000 in annualized workers compensation premium.
Berkley Industrial Comp is a specialty carrier offering mono-line workers' compensation solutions to the highly regulated high-hazard industry segment. Berkley Industrial Comp distributes its products through a network of local independent insurance agents and a small group of wholesale brokers who understand and support our value proposition to the high hazard industry.

Most of our team is located in the D.C. Metro area. We work hard and have a lot of fun along the way.
A long-time hub for arts and culture, D.C. has also become a major center for tech. From hiking and paddling to live music and Michelin-starred restaurants, the D.C. Metro has a little bit of everything.
We are located minutes from Old Town Manassas and right across the street from George Mason University’s Science and Technology campus.
